🌌The Pregnant Pause: Learning to Let Life Land

Have you ever heard of the term the pregnant pause?

It’s the intentional stillness that follows something profound, allowing time for an organic reaction.

This pause is a natural rhythm, yet in the busyness of life, we can often rush right past it to fill the space.
The healthy version is a surrendering to what is, allowing the body and heart to soften into presence.

The unhealthy version feels like tightening, as the mind races to manage or fix what has already unfolded.

A Morning Reminder

I caught this same busyness one morning during my daily routine of giving gratitude and love to the Universe, part of which is naming the one thing I’m most excited about in the day ahead.

That day, my answer was simple:
“I’m most excited to be able to just sit here and breathe with everything that’s happening.”

The night before, I’d had vivid dreams, no doubt the result of the new energy entering my life and an encounter that left me feeling a bit hurt. Instead of ignoring or rushing to label it all, I simply sat with it, asking, “What is this bringing up inside me?” and letting the breath reveal the answer.

The answer doesn’t always come, but I always feel better, and the tension in my body softens as a result.

The Human Part of Spiritual Awakening

Recently, I’ve noticed many healers and lightworkers moving through unexpected waves: physical illness, emotional exhaustion, inner confusion, and even survival fears. These times can be disorienting for anyone, especially for those who’ve already had their spiritual awakening and thought this wouldn’t happen again.

And yet, this is how life unfolds. A focus on spirituality and ascension won’t change this, but it can change our reaction to it.

Awakening is a constant while we are incarnated. There is always more to heal, to remember, to embody.

We rise, integrate, fall apart, and rise again. With conscious awareness of those moments, it gets easier.

With this context, it’s no longer a harsh judgment on ourselves of our: failure in spiritual practices, frequency level, or being too “negative”.

We are living the journey and learning to navigate toward what the higher Self desires, which often isn’t the same as what our ego self wants. We have free will to meander along the pathway of life, and yet the all-knowing, fully healed, eternal part of us already knows what can unfold in each lifetime.

When we resist what’s arising, we miss the wisdom and guidance within it. But when we breathe, pause, and allow, the experience becomes a guide back to the higher Self, to Spirit, to the remembering the joy of living the great adventure we are all in.

No One Above, No One Below

As consciousness expands, we’re also seeing old hierarchies dissolve, even in spiritual spaces. The time of the guru is over.

No one is above you, and no one is below you.
We are all coming into power of unimaginable levels which can only be sourced from the felt heart connection.

Seeking support and a guide is always helpful.

My invitation is to notice how others try to “help” you. Some will offer loving presence; others may project advice or judgment. Pay attention. True support allows space for your process. It honors the pregnant pause, where healing can unfold naturally without codependence or posturing.

Reflection

If things feel like they’re breaking down, trust that something deeper is breaking open.

When we take time to breathe and sit with what is, the silence can hold us.

Allow time to feel the pregnant pause and the revealing of your greatness within it. ✨

Much Love,

Jason
