The Ascension Process Support
Oct 03, 2025
Aloha,
Many of us are facing old patterns we didn’t even realize were still running. These are the unconscious protections we put in place long ago to feel safe. Now, as we move toward our soul’s deeper desires in the new earth, those patterns rise to the surface, asking to be seen, felt, and dissolved into wholeness.
We’ve all heard the idea that when you’re in alignment, things should flow easily. But the truth is, real ascension often looks messy. Sometimes it’s grief, loss, fatigue, or not knowing who you are anymore. Other times it’s miracles, flow, and beautiful synchronicities. Both are part of the journey and equally valid. Although, one is often more preferred, they are simply different seasons of soul evolution.
You might feel tempted to compare, especially if others around you seem to be thriving while you’re in the thick of it. Each soul designed a unique experience for this time. For some, that means deep internal clearing and transmutation. For others, it means expansion and embodiment. Both serve the collective shift and are often interchangeable.
This moment invites a powerful choice: to meet what’s arising with presence. To allow yourself to feel what’s coming up, not as something bad or wrong, but as the opportunity for energy to come back to you. Will you be gentle and present or distract, ignore, hate, and condemn what is happening? All these are acceptable, and the former will shift everything.
This past month, I’ve personally experienced loss, heartbreak, karmic resolution, and unexpected endings. And yet, through it all, I’ve also experienced deeper clarity, connection, and the need to choose necessary practices that help move me forward. Often it is as simple as: either collapse with the emotion or feel and breathe it into presence.
If the voice of your soul and connection to Spirit feels far away right now, come back to the breath. Let it guide you into the present moment. The mind may loop, trying to solve or escape, but the breath brings you back to what is real. And in that stillness, wisdom emerges.
A Breath Practice for Presence: The 5.5 Breath
One of the most effective tools I’ve been returning to again and again is the 5.5 breath—a simple, powerful rhythm highlighted in James Nestor’s book Breath. It involves breathing in for 5.5 seconds and exhaling for 5.5 seconds, creating a balanced rhythm of approximately 5.5 breaths per minute. This is what I have referred to as the master’s breath in my Galactic Breathing Ceremonies.
This is the body’s natural, coherent breath rhythm. It supports:
- Nervous system regulation
- Heart-brain coherence
- Emotional clarity
- Access to inner guidance and calm
You don’t need anything fancy to begin. Just breathe gently through your nose, in for a slow 5.5-second count, and out for 5.5 seconds (mouth or nose). Do this for just a few minutes each day, or any time things feel overwhelming, and you’ll likely notice a shift. Breathe like this all day and become a master.
This breath creates a sacred pause where Spirit can emerge.
You are made of many parts, but always held by something deeper. A centered truth that has never left.
May this reminder and practice meet you with compassion and presence, wherever you are on your amazing multidimensional journey.
With love and grounded support,
Jason Donaldson, MA
